We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role ofAssistant Manager - EQ Cash Settlements - MNL.

Principal responsibilities

• Ensure that matching and settlement of trades are done in timely and accurate fashion.
• Ensure that tasks and daily allocations are completed.
• Understand the risk & control framework and ensure escalation procedures are adhered to.
• Act as initial point of escalation on Supervisors absence.
• Expectation that the role will consist of line and project responsibilities around the Equity space driven by new business process improvement and operating model challenges
• Build strong Business and Operations Management relationships
• Assist management in achieving overall business objectives including the smooth transition of ad-hoc roles to Global service centres.

Requirements

• Experience in investment banking or financial institution
• Able to work in a demanding and time sensitive environment
• Ability to learn quickly and transfer knowledge appropriately.
• Ability to understand and interpret numeric data.
• Ability to speak and understand English fluently.
• Minimum basic computer knowledge
• Ability to write business letters and reports.
• Good conversational/telephone skills (process specific).
• Ability to maintain focus while working with voluminous data and able to multitask.
