Job Summary
Digital Solutions Development within PS&E Automation & Solution is responsible for developing new Factory OS that is our next-generation digital ecosystem built on open modular smart factory technologies and decades of industry expertise.
You will be based in Modena Italy or Lund Sweden but you will work in a global arena.
What you will do
As our new System Infrastructure Developer you will:
- Design build and maintain scalable reliable and secure system infrastructure across onpremises and cloud environments
- Develop monitoring and alerting tools enabling proactive support to customer critical infrastructure.
- Collaborate with DevOps Testing and Operation teams to support infrastructure and application lifecycle needs.
- Implement best practices for infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform.
- Support the troubleshooting related to hypervisors hosting virtual machines and container orchestrators together with DevOps team.
- Support the troubleshooting on installation manifests of target GitOps tools.
- Support in scouting tools for monitoring and proactive troubleshooting
- Participate in ongoing training and knowledge-sharing sessions to grow your technical skills.
We believe you have
- You have a Bachelor/masters degree in Computer Science Digital Automation Engineering or equivalent.
- Deep knowledge and hands-on experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Linux/Unix systems and shell scripting.
- Networking skill CCNA or equivalent certification level.
- Ability to read understand and write code .
- Tools like Git Docker Kubernetes.
- Virtualizations platforms such as ESXi Hyper-V.
- Experience with scripting languages and automation such as PowerShell Bash Ansible.
- Microsoft ARC and Flux.
- CKA/CKAD or Azure certifications is considered as a plus.
- You are fluent in English written and spoken.
- One of the following languages is considered as a plus: Italian Swedish.
- You have good communications skills written and spoken.
- Previous international studies/experience are considered meritorious.
