Join our team as a Working Student at eBays Amsterdam office and contribute to building scalable software systems that power our advertising platform. As part of a cross-functional engineering team youll collaborate with product design and machine learning partners to develop and improve services that connect buyers and sellers. You will support the design and implementation of ad-tech solutions work with modern technologies and help deliver reliable high-impact features that enhance both user experience and marketplace performance.

Your requirements:

  • Pursuing a Masters in Computer Science or related fields ideally with a focus on web development

  • Starting date in June/July 2026

  • Experience with designing and developing web applications and APIs using Java

  • Experience working with frontend technologies is a plus (React Typescript)

  • Proven ability to work independently and make good decisions with minimal direction

  • Strong communication skills (fluent English both verbal and written)
