Roles and Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications and prepare proposal documents that define the GEV scope of supply based upon the interpretation of the customer specification and the defined commercial strategy.
• Address all technical issues that will impact the ability of the GEV supplied equipment to comply the customer/project requirements. Process Cost & Cycle Estimates to define scope price and schedule impacts of all special non-standard scope and options that are necessary to support the proposal.
• Prepare comments and exceptions to the customer specification based on GEV equipments compliant or does not fully compliant. Review it with technical leader and include those in GEV proposal document to the customer.
• Provide all performance and emission expected values as the basis for guarantees as required by the customers specification in accordance with GEV Gas Power quoting policies.
• Maintain the Product Configuration to reflect changes in the GEV Gas Power scope of supply throughout the proposal phase such that complete equipment definition is available at the time of release of the project to Engineering/Manufacturing (OTR).
• Support Customer Order Definition Meetings when requested by the Project Manager or the Customer Engineer.
• Provide post-bid technical support to customers via responses to customer questions and participating in customer bid clarification and negotiation meetings.
• Initiate all required product and project technical requests to Engineering that require Engineering sign-off using the tools appropriate for the information being requested.
• Complete all engineering risk review and associated actions.
• Take an active role in the continuous improvement of processes procedures and deliverables.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent knowledge/experience
• Edison graduate from EEEDP program

• Strong interpersonal leadership skills and ability to work well in a team environment with a positive can do attitude.
• Solid understanding of gas power product portfolio.
• Ability to understand technical requirements for combined cycle plants and associated equipment and come up with technical solutions
• Self-starter and ability to handle multiple projects.
• Solid understanding of gas turbine/combine cycle performance define the best solution for positioning the product competitively
