• Roving position within Wintringham Residential Aged Care Services and Community

Travel across metropolitan Melbourne RACS is an inherent requirement of this role. The successful candidate must be willing and able to travel as part of their duties.

Your new role

We are currently seeking an RN1 with more than 3 years experience in Aged Care demonstrating enthusiasm experience and curiosity to join our Clinical Care Team on a Full time this fast paced and hands on roles you will be required to travel to Wintringhams residential community and housing sites located throughout Metropolitan Melbourne in Travancore Port Melbourne Williamstown Avondale Heights Dandenong and Coburg amongst others. Therefore a current drivers licence and appropriate motor vehicle are mandatory. As a key go to person for staff you will have an excellent understanding of current best practice guidelines and be confident in providing clinical advice and guidance. If you want to be challenged in your daily work as well as develop new ideas and if you look at things from different perspectives this role is for you! This is a fixed term position running from May 2026 to the 4^th of July 2027.

Your responsibilities and duties will include (but arent limited to):

• Ensuring that residents and clients receive appropriate services of the highest quality to meet their health care needs.
• Undertaking clinical reviews of residential and community clients.
• Ensuring resident and client care is in line with their values and preferences.
• Assessing and management of complex care including complex behaviours.
• Participating in resident and client reviews meetings
• Provide education and support for Wintringham staff

What we will require from you:

The successful applicant must be a Registered Nurse (Division 1) with at least 3 years experience in Aged Care (either residential or community). A Certificate IV in Training & Assessment IPC Lead training as well as experience with palliative wound or continence management would be ideal. Applicants with knowledge of alcohol dependence and associated behaviours will be looked on favorably. These will be supported by your:

• Current AHPRA Registration
• Excellent communication skills
• A keen eye for detail
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to improve practices in order to provide the safest possible service to our clients.
• Current drivers license
