Main Reposnabilities:

• Research Activities.
• Perform lab experiments on a daily basis documents results & discusses with supervisor.
• Solve routine technical problems using defined methods and protocols.
• Safely operate maintain and organize lab equipment.
• Maintain a safe clean and orderly laboratory environment in accordance with EHS guidelines.

Background / Skills

• BS level scientist 5 years job training or MS level scientist capable of addressing scientific challenges or Education as chemical technician and several years of experience on the job
• Technician 10-15 years of experience
• More experience independence and own initiative as compared to Research Technician/Technology Assistant level
• Fluent in French and English
• Computer literacy
• Scientific/analytical skills
• Very good knowledge of lab equipment and its safe use to perform research experiments
• Very good knowledge of materials and supplies needed to conduct research experiments
• Very good understanding of a research documentation protocol
• Proficiency in Givaudan-specific software applications
• Good knowledge of EHS guidelines as they pertain to lab maintenance and operation
