Job Summary

About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Assistant Conference & Banqueting Manager to join our team at Cashel Palace Hotel. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional to support the delivery of exceptional events and guest experiences within one of Irelands most prestigious five-star properties.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the planning coordination and execution of conferences weddings and banqueting events
  • Ensure the highest standards of service delivery presentation and guest satisfaction
  • Support the Conference & Banqueting Manager in daily operations and team supervision
  • Liaise with clients to understand requirements and ensure seamless event execution
  • Coordinate closely with kitchen front office and other departments
  • Monitor staffing levels scheduling and training of team members
  • Maintain compliance with health safety and hotel standards

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a conference & banqueting or events role within a luxury hotel environment
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • A proactive hands-on approach with attention to detail
  • Flexibility to work varied hours including evenings and weekends
