Operations Management Associate Position
Our fast-paced plants are powered by collaboration passion and a shared commitment to our vision of nourishing the Operations your work will touch countless lives through the families and communities you help feed. This position is a training role that will prepare you to lead diverse teams as a plant Operations Supervisor following this 12-month training program. During this time you will get the support and inspiration you need to choose your own path in developing an exciting career with global impact. Based on your performance and after approximately 12 months in this role you will work with your manager to identify your next role as an Operations Plant Leader at a different location. You will need to relocate. Relocation assistance will be provided for your first official role as a Plant Leader. As an Operations Management Associate you may also be asked to work at different locations to help with local needs and advance your career development. With us your future opportunities are endless. During your time here the path your training takes may include:
- Operations
- Environmental Health & Safety Leadership
- Engineering/Maintenance
- Accounting (Grain Inventory Budgeting and related activities)
- Continuous Improvement
- Human Resources Talent Management and Employee Relations

Compensation
The expected starting salary for this position is $67000.00 with consideration of relevant prior experience and qualifications. The disclosed salary has not been adjusted for geographic differentials which may apply based on location

Environment
When you join one of our Grain Facilities expect a hands-on work environment where you will get dirty and dusty. Thats because these are boots on the ground roles where you spend about 80% of your time out of the office working to ensure our facilities are run safely and efficiently. Here youll learn elevator operations and eventually lead a small team. Youll feel the wind in your face and sun on your skin from the tops of our silos. It is sometimes challenging work as you will have the possibility of working varying shift hours 8 to 14-hour shifts and even 6 to 7-day weeks depending on customer demand. As an industry leader its all part of contributing to a successful team that is doing things right reaching higher and putting people first. Your work in these facilities will be vital to our mission of nourishing the world.
Job Location And Expectations
- Plant setting
- Weekend and on-call duties will be required and vary depending on the time of year production needs and the type of facility.

Required Qualifications
- Currently pursuing or completed one or more of the following:
- A bachelors or masters degree completed/to be completed between May 2025 Summer 2026 or
- An associates degree or
- Achieved E-4 rank (or higher) in a military background or
- Two years relevant experience (as defined by operational mechanical and/or leadership experience)
- Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
- Ability to work effectively with individuals from a diverse set of backgrounds and cultures
- Must relocate after approximately 12 months at your original hiring location as part of the programs development and career progression
- Ability to contribute both as part of a team and individually
- Willingness to work 1st 2nd and 3rd shifts and weekends when the need arises (based on business demands and/or obligations)
