ROLE SUMMARY:
Kings College Soto de Viñuelas part of Inspired Education Group is seeking a passionate and highly qualifiedEnglish & Literature Teacher to join our Secondary School team for the 2026/27 academic year.
We are looking for an inspiring educator to teach English Language and Literature across KS3KS5 with the potential to contribute to A Level and IBDP programmes. The successful candidate will join a dynamic high-performing department committed to academic excellence and holistic student development.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Teach English Language and Literature across Secondary (KS3KS5)
- Deliver engaging challenging lessons aligned with the British curriculum
- Contribute to A Level and/or IB Diploma Programme delivery (if applicable)
- Monitor assess and support student progress to maximise achievement
- Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum planning and enrichment activities
- Support students academic and personal development including pastoral care
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE:
- A recognised teaching qualification (QTS PGCE or equivalent)
- Strong subject knowledge in English Language and Literature
- Experience teaching British curriculum (KS3KS5 essential)
- Experience or willingness to teach A Level and/or IBDP
- Excellent classroom practice and high expectations for student achievement
- A passion for inspiring a love of English and literature
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- International school experience (desirable but not essential)
