Shift: MondayFriday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM Pay: $20$27/hour (based on experience; higher for strong candidates)
Position Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Technician I CNC Swiss to support precision machining operations in a regulated manufacturing this role you will operate CNC Swiss machines ensure part quality through in-process inspection and follow established manufacturing safety and documentation standards.
You will play a key role in supporting production goals maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with quality systems including GMP GDP SOPs SWIs and QMS requirements.
Key Responsibilities
Operate CNC Swiss machining equipment to support production schedules and on-time delivery
Perform basic tool wear monitoring and report issues to the lead or supervisor
Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints job travelers and technical drawings (including GD&T)
Complete ERP transactions (Epicor) accurately to document production activities
Record production data inspection results and job activity in logs and reports
Perform basic preventive maintenance and follow equipment operating procedures
Maintain a clean safe and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards
Follow all applicable GMP GDP SOP SWI and QMS requirements
Support additional tasks as assigned by supervision
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma or GED required
1 year of manufacturing or machining experience preferred
Basic understanding of CNC Swiss machining processes
Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and vision systems
Familiarity with ERP systems and production documentation
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs
Preferred Experience
CNC machining or a precision manufacturing environment
Exposure to regulated industries (medical device aerospace or similar)
Experience working under GMP/QMS frameworks
