Job Summary

Shift: MondayFriday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM
Pay: $20$27/hour (based on experience; higher for strong candidates)

Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Advanced Manufacturing Technician I CNC Swiss to support precision machining operations in a regulated manufacturing this role you will operate CNC Swiss machines ensure part quality through in-process inspection and follow established manufacturing safety and documentation standards.

You will play a key role in supporting production goals maintaining equipment and ensuring compliance with quality systems including GMP GDP SOPs SWIs and QMS requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Swiss machining equipment to support production schedules and on-time delivery
  • Perform basic tool wear monitoring and report issues to the lead or supervisor
  • Conduct in-process inspections to ensure parts meet specifications and tolerances
  • Read and interpret blueprints job travelers and technical drawings (including GD&T)
  • Complete ERP transactions (Epicor) accurately to document production activities
  • Record production data inspection results and job activity in logs and reports
  • Perform basic preventive maintenance and follow equipment operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean safe and organized work area in compliance with OSHA standards
  • Follow all applicable GMP GDP SOP SWI and QMS requirements
  • Support additional tasks as assigned by supervision

Qualifications & Skills

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1 year of manufacturing or machining experience preferred
  • Basic understanding of CNC Swiss machining processes
  • Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers micrometers gauges and vision systems
  • Familiarity with ERP systems and production documentation
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and GD&T symbols
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Good communication skills (verbal and written)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office preferred)
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs

Preferred Experience

  • CNC machining or a precision manufacturing environment
  • Exposure to regulated industries (medical device aerospace or similar)
  • Experience working under GMP/QMS frameworks
