Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Maintenance Planner to support a fast-paced manufacturing this role you will be responsible for planning scheduling and coordinating maintenance activities to improve equipment reliability minimize downtime and ensure smooth production flow.

This is a high-impact position ideal for someone with strong maintenance experience who enjoys bringing structure efficiency and continuous improvement to maintenance operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan schedule and coordinate all preventive and corrective maintenance activities to maximize equipment uptime
  • Develop and maintain preventive maintenance (PM) programs based on equipment performance and operational needs
  • Create prioritize and manage work orders in alignment with production schedules
  • Collaborate with maintenance technicians engineers and production teams to ensure efficient execution of maintenance tasks
  • Manage maintenance parts inventory including tracking sourcing ordering and staging materials for upcoming work
  • Monitor equipment performance and support initiatives to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Adjust maintenance schedules in response to urgent or emergency repair needs
  • Maintain accurate records using a CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System)
  • Support training and guidance on maintenance planning processes and systems
  • Identify opportunities to improve maintenance planning scheduling and operational efficiency

Required Qualifications

  • 5 years of hands-on experience in maintenance facilities maintenance or industrial maintenance environments
  • Strong experience using CMMS systems (e.g. SAP PM Maximo Fiix or similar)
  • Proven experience building or improving preventive maintenance programs (not just executing PM tasks)
  • Experience scheduling maintenance activities in a production or manufacturing environment
  • Strong background in maintenance planning work order management and equipment reliability
  • Experience with inventory control spare parts management or procurement coordination
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office especially Excel
  • Strong organizational analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing industrial production or high-volume operations
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) principles
  • Exposure to lean manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
