Salary Range: $40-$42.50 per hour
Schedule: Full-time 40 hours per week Monday-Friday with possible weekends as needed and potential for floating between facilities
Experience level: Experienced cannot take new graduates

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Speech Language Pathologist to join our team at a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF). The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with patients of all ages and a strong background in providing speech and language therapy services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess patients speech language and swallowing abilities
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on evaluation results and patient goals
- Provide therapy services to patients including but not limited to articulation language fluency and swallowing exercises
- Monitor and track patients progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals including physicians nurses and occupational therapists to provide holistic care for patients
- Educate patients and their families on techniques for improving communication and swallowing abilities
- Document all patient care and progress accurately and timely
- Adhere to all professional ethical and legal standards set forth by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA) and state licensing board
- Stay current with advancements and changes in the field of speech language pathology through continuing education and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current state license or eligibility for state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Speech-Language Pathologist in a clinical setting preferably in a SNF
- Strong knowledge and understanding of speech and language disorders dysphagia and other related conditions
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Basic computer skills and proficiency with electronic medical records systems
- Current CPR certification
