Your Mission

As aData Engineer youll join our SEM Iberia Data Team working closely with traders analysts and IT squads to build modern scalable data solutions. Your work will directly impact the way energy is traded forecasted and optimized.

What youll do:

• Design and maintain robust ETL/ELT data pipelines.
• Automate data ingestion transformation and reporting workflows.
• Ensure data quality and governance (lineage documentation security compliance).
• Optimize performance of pipelines and databases.
• Collaborate on defining best practices in data design testing and MLOps.

What Were Looking For

• Strong hands-on experience with ETL/ELT processes and data orchestration.
• Proficient in SQL and Python (or a similar data-focused language).
• Experience with Docker Kubernetes and CI/CD tools.
• Knowledge of data governance and privacy standards (e.g. GDPR).
• Analytical mindset proactive attitude and strong attention to detail.

Bonus points for:

• Fluent Spanish
• Experience in Agile environments
• Exposure to machine learning or predictive models
