The Company

Our Client are an international garden design landscape build and maintenance company with over 25 years experience. They are based in Celbridge Co Kildare and uniquely only focus on high end residential garden design build and maintenance. They also have a six-acre nursery with a garden centre and café. Focused exclusively on sizable residential garden projects they carry out all external works hard landscaping and planting with a focus on instant maturity.

Job Title:

Garden Nursery and Plant Retail Sales Agent

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them with enquiries about plants gardening supplies and related products

• Ensure a positive customer experience

• Promote and sell nursery products including plants soil fertilisers pots and accessories

• Operate point-of-sale systems process transactions and handle cash accurately

• Ensure optimal plant health and aesthetic appeal through proactive maintenance and care

• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of retail area and outdoor displays

• Assist with stock control and replenishment of shelves

• Support seasonal promotions displays and special events as required

Necessary Skills and Attributes:

• Previous retail experience training will be provided
• Interest in plants gardening or landscaping desired
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Sales oriented mindset with the ability to upsell and recommend complementary products
• Ability to work outdoors and perform tasks such as lifting bending and standing for extended periods
• Reliable and punctual
• Monday to Friday but some occasional weekend work required
