Join us to shape the future of energy procurement! As a Strategic Procurement Manager for Market Data you will play a vital role in sourcing high-value cost-efficient and compliant solutions. Collaborate with diverse teams and make an impact in the energy sector.
What you will do:
Develop and execute procurement strategies for Market Data.
Conduct supplier analysis and market research to support decision-making.
Negotiate contracts and manage supplier relationships to ensure cost-efficiency and compliance.
Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities.
Manage sourcing projects aligned with category goals and organizational objectives.
Track supplier performance ensure compliance and prepare procurement data for strategic insights.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders including Market Data Licensing and IT teams.
Measure and report on procurement KPIs oversee demand forecasting and manage orders and payments.
What you bring & who you are:
Must-have qualifications:
Degree in Business Supply Chain Procurement or a related field.
Proven experience in procurement or vendor management ideally in Market Data.
Strong negotiation and contract management skills with a focus on cost control and licensing compliance.
Familiarity with market data platforms (e.g. Bloomberg ICE Refinitiv) and their licensing structures.
Expertise in strategic sourcing supplier evaluation and risk management.
Analytical mindset for assessing market conditions and supplier performance.
Nice-to-have qualifications:
Certifications in Procurement or Strategic Sourcing (e.g. CIPS CPSM).
Understanding of the energy and utilities sector including trading and market dynamics.
Proficiency in procurement systems (e.g. SAP Oracle) and data analytics tools (e.g. Excel Power BI).
Knowledge of digital sourcing and contract management platforms.
Personal competencies:
Effective communicator and negotiator with strong relationship-building skills.
High attention to detail and organizational skills for managing complex projects.
Proactive results-oriented and focused on value creation.
Languages:
Proficient in English; German and/or Spanish is an advantage.
