Job Summary:

The Infrastructure Services Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the datacenter migration program focusing on Middleware MQ Oracle Exadata MS SQL Server VMware Storage Network and Observability. This position requires a strategic thinker with a strong foundation in infrastructure management capable of leading cross-functional teams to ensure seamless transitions and optimal performance of infrastructure services.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the planning and execution of datacenter migration projects ensuring alignment with organizational goals and timelines.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders including IT teams vendors and business units to gather requirements and define project scope.
• Develop and maintain project plans schedules and budgets ensuring effective resource allocation and risk management.
• Implement best practices for infrastructure management focusing on performance reliability and scalability.
• Monitor project progress and provide regular updates to senior management and stakeholders.
• Facilitate troubleshooting and resolution of infrastructure-related issues during and after migration.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational policies throughout the migration process.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for process enhancements and efficiencies.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong expertise in infrastructure management particularly in datacenter operations and migration.
• Proficiency in Middleware MQ Oracle Exadata MS SQL Server VMware Storage and Networking technologies.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and collaborate effectively.

Preferred Skills:

• Familiarity with observability tools and practices.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure and hybrid environments.
• Knowledge of ITIL or other service management frameworks.
• Certifications in relevant technologies or project management methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
• Relevant certifications in infrastructure management or project management are advantageous.
• Proven track record of successful infrastructure project management.
