Job Summary

Qualifications
Bachelors degree in IT or a technical security discipline
Minimum 4 7 years (Mid) or 8 years (Senior) of specialized experience in enterprise vulnerability management and scanning
Advanced proficiency in industry-standard scanning tools for heterogeneous networks and server environments
Experience in risk-factoring intelligence into technical findings to provide a prioritized mitigation roadmap

Responsibilities
Scanning Operations: Execute rigorous monthly vulnerability scans across County IT and District Attorney IT networks and server infrastructures.
Intelligence-Led Analysis: Analyze raw scan results and prioritize findings based on risk integrating current threat intelligence into the severity ranking.
Remediation Guidance: Develop detailed step-by-step guidance on how to remediate each technical item identified during the scan.
Resource Estimation: Provide precise estimates of internal County staff hours required to address and remediate each identified vulnerability.
Reporting: Deliver comprehensive reports of findings and recommended actions to County leadership.
