Inside Account Manager

Location: La Crosse WI

Job type: Full time

Schedule: Monday-Friday daytime hours

Base Salary: $42000 - $68000 annually

* Total Compensation for this position includes base salary commissions and full benefits package offerings. The exact amount of base salary may vary based on experience and skills brought to the role as well as the geographic location of the role.

About the Role

Viking Electric is seeking a driven Account Manager to grow and manage customer relationships through proactive inside selling and targeted outreach. This role partners closely with customers to understand their business promote Viking Electrics solutionsespecially digital toolsand consistently drive sales growth.

Youll spend most of your time developing accounts from an office while collaborating with internal teams to deliver a seamless customer experience with occasional customer visits in the field.

What Youll Do

  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing value insight and market knowledge
  • Prospect for new accounts and grow existing business through proactive outreach
  • Promote Viking Electrics full portfolio of products services and digital solutions
  • Negotiate pricing secure vendor agreements and support effective pricing strategies
  • Quote material enter orders manage returns and delegate transactional tasks as appropriate
  • Collaborate with product specialists (automation project sales datacom tools digital etc.)
  • Serve as a trusted partner and indispensable supply chain resource for customers

What Were Looking For

Required

  • 2 years of B2B sales experience (electrical industry preferred)
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong negotiation communication and relationshipbuilding skills
  • Solid computer and technology proficiency
  • Valid drivers license

Preferred

  • Postsecondary education or equivalent experience
  • Experience selling electrical products or solutions
  • Strong understanding of markets competitors and basic financials

Work Environment

  • Approximately 80% inside sales from an office
  • Up to 20% field time visiting customers
