Skills and Competencies

• Employment eligibility to work in the U.S. is required as Moodys will not pursue visa sponsorship for this position
• Fullstack development experience with 4 years building backend services using Python (Django FastAPI or Flask) and frontend applications using React JavaScript HTML and CSS to implement and maintain product features end to end
• Cloudnative development and DevOps experience including handson work building containerised or serverless applications on cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Azure; familiarity with CI/CD pipelines to support efficient and reliable releases
• Proficiency with SQL and NoSQL databases with a working understanding of system design secure coding practices authentication authorisation and encryption to build secure maintainable applications
• Experience with quality engineering and tooling including automated testing frameworks API testing tools version control systems container technologies and Unixlike environments; experience developing Microsoft Teams apps is preferred
• Basic understanding of artificial intelligence concepts with curiosity and enthusiasm for learning how AI tools can be used to improve processes and drive efficiency along with an interest in responsible AI practices risk management and ethical use

Education

• Bachelors degree in computer science software engineering or a related field

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend and frontend components using Pythonbased frameworks and modern web technologies working independently on assigned tasks with regular guidance
• Build deploy and support reliable scalable applications on cloud platforms following established architectural and operational standards
• Design enhance and test REST APIs and system integrations to enable seamless data and service communication
• Write secure efficient reusable and testable code while adhering to secure coding practices authentication authorisation and data protection requirements
• Collaborate closely with product managers and designers to deliver responsive userfriendly interfaces aligned with business and user needs
• Participate in code reviews sprint planning and team discussions to maintain quality standards and support continuous improvement
• Contribute to CI/CD enhancements and DevOps practices to improve deployment reliability and operational efficiency
• Document technical designs workflows and APIs and stay current with emerging technologies that may benefit the product

About the Team

For US-based roles only: the anticipated hiring base salary range for this position is$95500.00-$138550.00 depending on factors such as experience education level skills and location. This range is based on a full-time addition to base salary this role is eligible for incentive compensation.
