What You Get to Do:
As a Horticulture Technician youll perform a variety of horticultural groundskeeping and greenhouse tasks including watering weeding planting transplanting pruning and mulching.

You Will Also:

• Provide exemplary service to guests and ambassadors

• Maintain the landscaping in the park and surrounding areas

• Perform grounds maintenance tasks such as watering weeding planting and pruning

• Perform tasks related to cold-weather protection as well as preparation for storms and perform repair work for any weather damage or other damage

• Maintain cleanliness and quality of work area

• Perform and complete assigned tasks from management as needed

What it Takes to Succeed:

• Detail oriented able to handle multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment under general supervision

• A passion for customer service

• Ability to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements to include but not limited to passing required tests and certifications within established timelines including PA pesticide license

• Consistently practice safe work habits including the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) and reporting unsafe situations

• Working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Applications

What else is Important:

• Must be 16 years of age or older

• Must be able to lift pull and push a minimum of 50 lbs

• Willingness to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards

• Position engages in extensive walking and standing throughout entire work shift

• Perform the following physical activities: kneeling squatting bend floor-to waist/waist-to-overhead reach overhead simple grasp and fine hand manipulation tasks (use of tools/keyboard/writing)

• Perform cleaning duties including use of cleaning chemicals

• Must be willing to comply with all SEA grooming guidelines and employment standards

• Must be able to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather to include extreme heat and cold temperatures

• Must provide flexible consistent availability (including nights weekends and holidays) and adhere to our Holiday and Availability agreement.

• Ability to successfully complete all legal company and department training requirements within established timelines
