What Youll Do:

• Plan develop and facilitate structured recreational therapy groups that support treatment goals such as emotional regulation communication teamwork problemsolving and selfesteem.

• Incorporate evidencebased and traumainformed approaches appropriate for youth with behavioral health developmental and traumarelated needs.

• Document progress participation and clinical observations in the electronic health record according to Medicaid and PRTF standards.

• Communicate regularly with therapists nurses psychiatrists teachers and direct care staff to ensure consistency in behavioral and therapeutic approaches.

• Provide input on behavioral strategies coping skills and activitybased interventions that support treatment goals across the milieu.

• Follow PRTF safety protocols crisis intervention procedures and supervision ratios.

• Maintain trainings as required and requested

• Demonstrate knowledge of emergency procedures and assist in crisis situations

• Demonstrate knowledge of and comply with all agency policies and procedures

• Complete all other relevant responsibilities assigned by the supervisor

• Driving and travel may be required
