About Global Delivery Services

Global Delivery Services refers to EYs worldwide network of service delivery centers. The GDS team plays an important role in EYs strategy by ensuring effective support to EYs growth agenda.

Our journey started in 2002 with approximately 200 people. Today we stand at 80000 professionals in ten locations around the world. We operate in Argentina China Hungary India Philippines Poland Sri Lanka Mexico Spain and the United Kingdom.

Client service is focused on providing Consulting Assurance Tax Strategy & Transactions and Knowledge support to our clients around the world. The teams enable account teams worldwide to provide seamless high-quality value-added support helping deliver exceptional client service.

Enablement Services provides cost-effective high-skilled and innovative services to support EYs global and local enablement teams. Markets BMC AWS Finance and Accounting Risk Management Procurement People Shared Services IT Service Delivery and IT Global Infrastructure services are among the services offered by Enablement Services.

Our innovation specialists serve the GDS Client Service and Enablement Services teams along with Service Lines Core Business Services and Sectors. The team brings the desired environment technologies and skilled teams together for facilitation rapid prototyping and innovative thinking. The Opportunity

We are looking for a Staff DevOps Engineer with 34 years of hands-on experience in Cloud environments. The primary focus of this role is supporting DevOps related issues including CI/CD pipelines automation scripting and container orchestration. The role also involves contributing to basic cloud infrastructure management and support. You will assist in troubleshooting support deployment pipelines and participate in operations across cloud-native environments.

You will be responsible for executing tasks with increasing autonomy applying sound judgment within defined parameters and contributing to team outcomes. You are expected to demonstrate initiative resolve routine issues independently and support junior colleagues.

You will anticipate and identify risks within engagements and share any issues with senior members of the team.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Assist in resolving infrastructure and DevOps-related incidents and service requests.
• Support CI/CD pipeline operations and automation workflows.
• Implement infrastructure as code using Terraform DSL (ARM templates Biceps).
• Monitor platform health using native tools like Cloud watch NewRelic BigPanda Grafana.
• Collaborate with CloudOps and DevOps teams to address deployment or configuration issues.
• Maintain and update runbooks SOPs and automation scripts as needed.

Technologies and Tools

Must haves

• CI/CD: Basic experience with GitHub Actions Harness JFrog Artifactory.
• Working knowledge of repository management branching strategies CI workflows and pipeline troubleshooting.
• Experience with Terraform; exposure to ARM templates / Biceps is a plus.
• Familiarity with Docker Kubernetes (EKS/AKS) and Helm.
• Basic scripting in Bash; knowledge of Python or Java is a plus.
• Knowledge of Cloud networking security groups VPC/VNet and basic networking.
• Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.
• Incident Management: Familiarity with ServiceNow or similar ITSM tool

Skills and attributes for success

• 34 years of experience in CloudOps DevOps or cloud infrastructure Development projects.
• Hands-on experience in building deploying and supporting cloud solutions.
• Familiarity with infrastructure automation CI/CD pipelines and container platforms.
• Relevant cloud certification in DevOps.
• Willingness to work in a 24x7 rotational shift-based support environment.
