Foundation Health Partners is actively recruiting an ambitious Physician Assistant to join our Outpatient Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic.

The Opportunity:

The FHP Internal Medicine & Senior Care Clinic is home to an experienced team of providers who offer a range of services from preventive care to diagnosing and managing chronic or complex conditions. We are deeply committed to preserving Medicare access in Interior Alaska and ensuring that all patients regardless of insurance type have access to quality healthcare. As a crucial member of our team you will play a pivotal role in providing services to patients grappling with chronic and multisystem disorders. Collaborate seamlessly with your dedicated care team and become integral to our mission to deliver exceptional patient-centric care.

  • Compensation:Starting at a base of $147112 compensation can be further adjusted based on experience. Additional opportunity to increase earnings through productivity. $40k sign-on bonus.
  • Schedule:M-F 40 hours per week. 7 weeks ATO 2 weeks CME.
  • Patient Panel:Diverse acuities and populations.
  • Team:We operate under a Care Team model meaning that APPs provide routine check-ins follow-up visits and acute care services and physicians offer consultative services and treat complex cases.

Qualifications

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be approved to practice by the State Joint Board on the Regulation of Physicians Assistants. NCCPA certification required. Exhibits an exemplary professional demeanor and interpersonal relationship skills.

Demonstrates proficiency in computer applications and database management. Must have sufficient experience confidence and judgment to function with little outside direction. Ability to maintain CME currency as required to maintain NCCPA certification. Requires personal DEA license.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Advanced degree preferred. Experience in clinical setting including supervision is preferred. ACLS PALS ATLS and/or Neonatal Resuscitation certifications desirable.
