Location: LA hybrid or Chicago (5 days onsite)

Vice President Investment and Trading Technology

A global investment manager specializing in alternative investments with over $220B in AUM is seeking a Lead Business Analyst to join the Investment and Trading Technology (ITT) group. The firm is on a multi-year journey to modernize its technology landscape and enhance business architecture. This role partners closely with Portfolio Managers Traders Middle Office and Compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Lead product management for firmwide OMS across Front and Middle Office (Portfolio Management Trading Compliance Trade Confirmations Settlements)
• Build strong relationships across business and technology teams to support adoption
• Act as SME for trading systems and workflows; drive process improvements and automation
• Lead UAT and system validation efforts
• Manage vendor relationships and onboarding
• Gather and translate business requirements into actionable plans
• Analyze workflows and systems to identify inefficiencies and enhance operations
• Stay current with industry trends and best practices

Qualifications:

• 810 years supporting or implementing OMS within the investment industry
• Experience with OMS platforms (Charles River Aladdin SimCorp Thinkfolio Bloomberg AIM Enfusion)
• Strong knowledge of financial instruments (bonds derivatives FX)
• Experience with FIX protocol and SWIFT messaging
• Background in business requirements test plans and process optimization
• Experience with electronic trading platforms (Tradeweb MarketAxess EMSX Flextrade)
• Understanding of pre post and batch compliance
• SQL and/or Python experience preferred
• Strong analytical communication and leadership skills
• Experience in Agile environments
