About the role
Were looking for a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Pasadena clinic a clinician who can step in and deliver high-quality whole-person care across a broad scope from day one.
This role sits at the center of Tias care model blending primary care gynecology and behavioral health into a single integrated experience. Youll move fluidly between preventive care urgent visits procedures and longitudinal care without the luxury of a narrow scope.
Youll also contribute to how we evolve care at Tia partnering across disciplines shaping clinical workflows and helping us continuously raise the bar on quality and experience.
This is a role for someone who is confident in their clinical range moves quickly without sacrificing rigor and can be a steady trusted presence for patients and the care team alike.
Schedule
Full-time (3240 hours/week). Includes one evening per week and some rotating weekends. Flexibility to support nearby clinics as needed.
What you bring (must-haves)
Day 1 clinical readiness - Youre able to independently assess diagnose and manage the following visit types without ramp time:
- New patient visits and annual preventive exams
- Contraception and all-options pregnancy consults
- Vaginal vulvar urinary and pelvic concerns (including cramps/pelvic pain)
- STI evaluation and treatment including genital sores
- Cough cold flu and other urgent care presentations
- Abdominal and digestive concerns
- Mental health assessments (anxiety depression mood stress) and follow-ups
- Sleep concerns
- Lab review and care plan development
- Cervical cancer screening follow-up
- Pregnancy confirmation
- Vaccines and injections

Core clinical scope & approach
- Board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with an active unrestricted California license (103 preferred)
- Strong experience across both primary care and gynecologic care youre not learning one on the job
- Comfortable operating independently in a fast-paced clinic with sound clinical judgment and efficient decision-making
Areas youll grow into (training supported)
You dont need to have full proficiency on day one but you should be open and motivated to build competency in:
- Menopause & perimenopause care (assessment and follow-up)
- Sexual wellness
- Weight management care
- Dermatologic concerns (acne rashes skin changes)
- Ear eye and headache-related visits
- Routine blood pressure follow-ups and other lower-acuity care
Procedural expectations
- Experience with IUD insertions strongly preferred
- Familiarity with basic dermatologic procedures
- Interest in expanding procedural scope (e.g. Nexplanon colposcopy)

- Background in interdisciplinary or non-traditional care models
- Exposure to integrative or holistic care approaches

Tia requires that Nurse Practitioners complete credentialing with specified payors and that you authorize Tia to complete this credentialing through our preferred vendors.
Compensation: $130000 - $150000 ( Full time)
