Supervises and coordinates activities of clinical and non-clinical department staff. Prepares work schedules and expedites workflow. Responsible for assisting with the development and implementation of policies and procedures for the department. Keeps the physician(s) informed of both progress and potential problems. Responsible for the direction and evaluation of patient care delivery. Responsible for the daily operations of one or more departments as assigned.
Demonstrates the ability to deal with pressure to meet deadlines to be accurate and to handle constantly changing situations. Demonstrates the ability to deal with a variety of people deal with stressful situations and handle conflict.
Will perform all job duties or job tasks as assigned. Will follow and adhere to all requirements regulations and procedures of any licensing board or agency. Must comply with all Benefis Health Systems organization policies and procedures.
Education/License/Experience Requirements:
- Current State Registered Nurse Licensure required; Bachelors Degree in Nursing business or healthcare related field preferred.
- Minimum of three years management/supervisory experience preferred preferably in a medical setting.
- Ability to work with physicians and staff in a collaborative manner.
