Job Title: Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) / Autism Consultant
Location: Medford OR 97501
Duration: 36 Weeks
Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: Day Shift (5x8s between 7:00 AM 7:00 PM)
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a highly qualified Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to support a school-based program in Medford Oregon. This role combines responsibilities as a BCBA and Autism Consultant working directly in classroom settings to support students guide educators and implement effective behavioral interventions.
The ideal candidate will have prior school-based experience and demonstrated expertise in autism assessments particularly with early childhood populations.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct Functional Behavior Assessments (FBA) and comprehensive behavioral evaluations
- Develop implement and monitor Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP)
- Provide in-classroom support including coaching teachers and staff on behavioral strategies
- Collaborate with educators parents administrators and multidisciplinary teams
- Supervise and mentor RBTs RBAIs and BCBA candidates
- Track and analyze student progress using data-driven methodologies
- Support development and implementation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Deliver training sessions workshops and in-services on behavior management techniques
- Apply evidence-based practices such as PECS visual supports assistive technology and social skills interventions
- Ensure compliance with district state federal and BACB ethical guidelines
- Maintain accurate documentation records and confidentiality standards
- Participate in ongoing professional development and certification maintenance
Required Qualifications
- Active BCBA certification (required)
- Masters degree in Education Psychology Applied Behavior Analysis or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in behavioral analysis and intervention
- Prior school-based (K12) experience required
- Experience working with students with autism and developmental disabilities
- Strong understanding of ABA principles assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Experience supervising RBTs or similar roles preferred
- Excellent communication collaboration and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in IEP systems data tracking tools and standard computer applications
- Valid Oregon Drivers License (or ability to obtain)
