Job Summary

MCPS is seeking part-time student interns to support the SWVA Can Code Camp at Christiansburg Middle School from June 15 - July 2 2026.These positions are open to current MCPS students only.

Student interns will supportMCPS teachers with technology. Interns willlead small groups of campers who will use the Apple Swift platform to code and prototype an app.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Must be 16 years of age or older

Ability to follow direction from Camp Leaders (MCPS Teachers)

Ability to work appropriately with camp participants

Ability to identify and report technology issues to proper authority

Willingness to promote and develop a friendly technology environment

Dependability and punctuality required

Dates:June 15 - July 2 (Monday-Thursday only) 8:30am-12pm

SALARY: Student Interns will receive a stipend of $500

FLSA: Non-Exempt
