Materials Handler

Become a Key Player as a Materials Handler

You will keep materials moving accurately and on time to support production and this onsite first-shift role (MF 5:00am1:30pm) youll collaborate with the shipping/receiving group manufacturing lines and warehouse team to ensure parts and supplies are available when and where theyre needed.

Heres How Youll Make an Impact on the Team

• Receive unpack inspect and verify goods against purchase orders or invoices
• Stock disburse and distribute materials to inventory locations and manufacturing lines
• Load and unload trucks and prepare merchandise for shipment including posting weights and shipping charges
• Maintain records of received and shipped goods and document rejected or unsatisfactory items
• Perform cycle-counting and maintain inventory accuracy
• Operate powered industrial trucks and material handling equipment safely
• Follow written and oral work instructions and demonstrate all safety policies and procedures
• Work regular consistent hours and be available for nights weekends and overtime as needed

Heres What Youll Need to Be Successful in This Role

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of relevant experience in materials handling shipping/receiving or warehouse operations
• Basic computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and email
• Familiarity with MRP/ERP systems or databases (MRP skills listed as must-have)
• Ability to read and follow work instructions and to write and communicate clearly
• Skilled in using powered industrial trucks material handling equipment and small hand tools
• Ability to perform cycle-counting and maintain accurate records
• Willingness to work additional hours nights and weekends as required

Pay Range

$18 - $20/hour
