As a Security Officer - Emergency Centerin Boca Raton FL you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed officer in a healthcare location where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents and deliver outstanding customer service and this people-first role you will support a caring environment through teamwork integrity and a reliable agile approach while helping staff patients and visitors throughout the day.

Job Schedule:

What Youll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients visitors and staff by carrying out security-related procedures site-specific policies and when appropriate emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
• Respond to incidents disturbances and urgent situations in a calm problem-solving manner helping to support orderly operations and appropriate follow-up.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings parking areas entrances and the perimeter observing and reporting unusual activity and/or potential concerns.
• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening directions and general assistance while helping to support site rules and authorized entry practices.
• Document incidents observations and security-related activities in a clear and timely manner and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Hospital vaccines are required.
• Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Must be able to restrain individuals in a hospital environment.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Possess a guard card
• As a condition of employment applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal state and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
