Job Summary
The Full Time - Yard Associate for Heritage Family of Companies is responsible for supporting daily yard and warehouse operations including material receiving stocking and organization while adhering to safety standards and providing excellent customer service. Pay: $20 and up.
Key Responsibilities
Move stock and organize products in the yard and warehouse to keep inventory accurate and easy to find.
Load and unload materials from customer and company vehicles safely and efficiently.
Operate forklifts pallet jacks and other equipment while following all safety rules.
Keep the yard and warehouse clean organized and free of hazards to ensure a safe and efficient workspace.
Must follow all safety guidelines including wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) and using proper lifting techniques.
Check and verify orders complete shipping and receiving paperwork and work with team members to meet delivery deadlines.
Assist with other warehouse or yard tasks as needed.
Physical Requirements
Ability and to lift and handle freight/materials continuously throughout the workday.
Ability to move heavy products in busy warehouses and/or outdoor yards using equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks and involves active physical work.
Able to pass screening - background and drug screen.
Minimum Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years old.
Ability to lift and handle freight/materials up to 75 pounds throughout the workday.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a PLUS!
Prior experience in hands-on outdoor/indoor yard/warehouse operational work or similar environment.
