Roles and Responsibilities:

• Participate in and/or lead annual IEP reviews initial evaluation and reevaluation meetings;

• Develop IEPs

• Provide support in the general education classroom;

• Provide one-on-one and/or small group support outside the general education classroom;

• Administer comprehensive learning evaluations;

• Communicate regularly with the Director of Student Services;

• Maintain proper documentation regarding IEPs accommodations and parent/teacher communications;

• Collaborate with general education teachers and Support Services staff regarding IEP students;

• Support implementation of the SVA vision & mission helping set the tone and culture;

• Communicate proactively with students staff and parents;

• Embrace feedback from administration in a continuous improvement modality;

• Build appropriate professional relationships with students;

• Collaborate with other SVA staff in all aspects of the school;

• Participate in weekly special education team meeting;

• Other duties as assigned by Administration.
