(USA) Production Supervisor, Manufacturing (M-F, 1st Shift)

Position Summary...

What youll do...

• Promote a safe work environment by ensuring associates use appropriate safety equipment and adhere to safety standards.
• Maintain clean organized and hazard-free work areas including ensuring floors are free of debris equipment is operational and clean and hazards are promptly removed.
• Request and coordinate materials supplies parts and repair services as needed to support operations.
• Manage daily production area operations by planning scheduling and assigning work to meet operational goals.
• Monitor and evaluate operations programs processes and practices to ensure quality efficiency and effectiveness.
• Inspect materials products and equipment to identify defects deficiencies or malfunctions and ensure timely corrective action.
• Assist with production sequence planning to meet production targets and deliver superior customer service.
• Ensure timely identification and resolution of associate performance concerns through coaching and feedback.
• Complete review and analyze departmental reports to track performance and identify improvement opportunities.
• Lead and sustain a continuous improvement and Lean culture by documenting implementing and standardizing new and improved processes.
• Participate in new hire onboarding and provide ongoing training to support associate development.
• Provide process improvement guidance related to waste reduction quality management and operational effectiveness.
• Coordinate complete and oversee job-related activities by building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders.
• Support business plans and initiatives aligned with customer and organizational needs by communicating goals and objectives building accountability measuring progress identifying improvement opportunities and demonstrating adaptability while promoting continuous learning.
