Senior School Intern Programme 2027

TO QUALIFY TO JOIN OUR TEAM AS AN INTERN IN THE SENIOR SCHOOL YOU WOULD:

• Be 21 years or older.
• Be studying or have recently completed a Bachelor of Education degree (Senior Phase) or PGCE.
• Be in your 3^rd 4^th or post-graduate year of study in 2026 or have recently graduated.
• Subject preferences include EGD Maths Physical Science Life Science Afrikaans Art and English; however applications for other subjects are also welcome.
  
• Have achieved an academic average of 65% and above during your degrees (advantageous).
  
• Have a high level of computer literacy and be willing to learn new systems.
• Be warm engaging resilient honest genuine empathetic and kind.
• Have excellent teamwork communication and collaboration skills.
• Have strong values that align to the Christian ethos of the school.
• Have a clear criminal clearance certificate.
• Be willing to apply for SACE registration and clearances with the Child Protection and Sexual Offenders Registers.

OUR EXPECTATIONS ARE THAT YOU WOULD:

• Commit to a fixed-term contract (1st January 2027 - 31st December 2027) conditional on your performance.
• Immerse yourself fully in the life of our school.
• Learn how to teach while you study and show self-discipline and enthusiasm during your learning journey with us.
• Be excited about learning how to integrate technology into the curriculum using various electronic media in the classroom.

There is an opportunity for female applicants with a drivers license and 1 year of driving experience (preferable) to live and work in the Boarding Establishment of our All-Girls school (in a single capacity). The applicants willingness to do so will be an advantage.
