Job Overview:
The Customer Service Representative is a key member of our team responsible for creating a positive experience for both clients and their pets. Youll support our veterinary staff by managing appointments handling phone inquiries processing payments and maintaining a clean welcoming reception area.
Responsibilities:
- Greet clients and patients warmly upon arrival
- Answer phones schedule appointments and triage client concerns
- Manage check-in and check-out processes for appointments
- Accurately maintain client records and update information
- Process payments and handle billing inquiries
- Communicate clearly with clients about services procedures and follow-up care
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk and waiting area
- Assist with other administrative tasks as needed
Requirements
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in customer service receptionist or veterinary/medical office setting preferred
- Friendly calm and compassionate demeanor especially during busy or emotional moments
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong computer skills and comfort learning several software systems
