PRN Experienced Caregiver (Home Care Madison County IL)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dependable and experienced PRN Caregiver to provide non-medical in-home care to clients throughout Madison County communities. This position is on an as-needed basis and requires flexibility to accept shifts on short notice. The caregiver will support clients with daily activities while promoting independence dignity and safety in their homes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): bathing dressing grooming toileting and personal hygiene
• Provide mobility assistance including transfers and ambulation support
• Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
• Perform light housekeeping (laundry dishes general cleaning)
• Provide medication reminders (non-clinical only)
• Offer companionship and emotional support
• Monitor client condition and report any changes to supervisor or family
• Transport or accompany clients to appointments errands or community activities
• Follow individualized care plans and document services accurately

Qualifications:

• Minimum 12 years of caregiving or home care experience
• Reliable transportation car insurance and valid drivers license
• Must reside in Madison County IL and be willing to travel within 30 miles of your home

• Applicants must be at least 18 years old
• Applicants must have a high school diploma or GED equivalent
• Ability to lift push or pull 25 pounds
• Ability to bend twist stoop kneel and reach
• Able to pass a criminal background check and drug screen

• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently

Schedule:

• PRN / As-needed (no guaranteed hours)
• Must be available for short-notice shifts including evenings weekends and holidays
• Must be willing to work at least 4 shifts per month and at least 1 weekend shift per month
