The School of Education invites applications for a Director of Accreditation and Assessment (F0254) position. We seek candidates that have expertise in data collection and analysis preparing reports for accrediting bodies and state agencies and for ensuring continuous program improvement. The Director will work closely with leadership faculty and staff to maintain compliance and advance the School of Educations mission of preparing highly qualified program completers. The School of Education invites applications for a Director of Accreditation and Assessment (F0254) position. We seek candidates that have expertise in data collection and analysis preparing reports for accrediting bodies and state agencies and for ensuring continuous program improvement. The Director will work closely with leadership faculty and staff to maintain compliance and advance the School of Educations mission of preparing highly qualified program completers. A Review of Applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled.
- Lead the preparation of self-studies for accrediting bodies.
- Monitor reports and ensure compliance with all standards and regulations.
- Design and oversee a comprehensive school-wide assessment plan.
- Guide departments in defining measurable student learning outcomes (SLOs) and implementing systematic Closing the Loop processes to improve program quality.
- Teach 12 courses per semester in Research Methods or Applied Statistics. This includes curriculum development grading and mentoring students in quantitative and qualitative inquiry.
- Lead the collection validation and submission of institutional data to state agencies.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity across all external reporting platforms.
- Analyze complex data sets to provide actionable insights to Dean and Associate Dean.
- Transform data into visualizations and executive summaries that inform strategic planning retention efforts and resource allocation.
- Act as an internal consultant to faculty and staff providing workshops and one-on-one coaching on assessment best practices survey design and how to use data to justify curricular changes.
- Manage the internal academic program review cycle.
- Work with School of Education administration to analyze program viability and conduct rigorous quality checks every 35 years for every academic offering.
Minimum Qualifications
- Earned doctorate (PhD or EdD) in Assessment and Evaluation Educational Research Measurement and Evaluation Research Measurement and Evaluation or a related field from an accredited program is necessary.
- Knowledge and proficiency in measurement data analysis research design and qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.
- Expertise in the principles and practices of assessment and evaluation.
- Proficiency in statistical software (e.g. SPSS SAS R or Stata) and data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau Power BI).
- Proven ability to manage complex long-term projects involving multiple stakeholders and strict external deadlines.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Additional Considerations
- Experience leading continuous program improvement initiatives that resulted in documented institutional growth or improved student outcomes.
- Demonstrated experience in a leadership role related to accreditation and assessment.
- Demonstrated experience preparing data sets and narrative reports for regional accrediting bodies (e.g. CAEP CACREP CAAHEP SACSCOC) and state-level regulatory agencies.
- Experience teaching graduate level courses in assessment program evaluation research methods and/or statistics.
