Job Summary
The University of North Carolina invites applications for an open-rank (Clinical Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) faculty member who will serve as a Periodontology faculty member in the Department of Periodontology Endodontics and Dental Hygiene. The selected candidate will provide didactic and clinical instruction as well as evaluation of pre-doctoral dental students and graduate dental residents in periodontics implants and digital dentistry including diagnosis treatment planning non-surgical and surgical care. This position offers outstanding opportunities for intramural practice scholarly activities continuing education and professional service and research. Successful candidates should have the ability to establish a robust intramural practice with the UNC Adams School of Dentistrys Dental Faculty Practice.
Preferred Qualifications Competencies And Experience
It is preferred that the candidate is Board-certified or Board-eligible in periodontology or implantology and is eligible to obtain a North Carolina conscious sedation license. Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to engage with a diverse community of students faculty and staff. Leadership administrative and supervisory experiences are preferred.
