Job Type: Full-Time 0.9 FTE or 72 hours/pp
Schedule: 6 x 12-hour shifts Nights (7p-7a) Rotating weekends and holidays
$7500 Sign-On Bonus available to qualified applicants

Inpatient Rehab is a 16bed specialty unit caring for patients focused on regaining independence through coordinated therapy and nursing support. While many patients are less acute the nursing team is skilled in providing acute Med/Surg care when needed. The team is deeply committed to patient safety independence and collaboration and is frequently recognized by patients for its positive friendly and supportive atmosphere.
How youll contribute
ARehab RN who excels in this role:
- Performs plan-of-care interventions including medication administration specimen collection clinical treatments and related medical care.
- Documents care provided in a timely accurate manner.
- Monitors records and communicates patient condition to the care team physicians patients and families.
- Assists with activities of daily living (hygiene elimination nutrition ambulation).
- Displays initiative and flexibility to float throughout the building to support departments and staff.
- Collaborates across disciplines to coordinate care (transfers discharges referrals psychosocial/spiritual support).
- Assesses learning needs; provides age- and culture-appropriate patient/family education.
- Advocates for the physical and emotional well-being of patients.
- Participates in performance improvement and required education; works other shifts/units as needed and may take on-call assignments.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

What were looking for
Applicants should have a current Michigan RN license and possess an associates degree from an accredited nursing school (bachelors preferred).
