Guaranteed Hours: 32 hours/week

Job Summary

Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) for an 8-week contract assignment in an outpatient rehabilitation setting. This role focuses on treating a primarily musculoskeletal and orthopedic patient population including post-operative cases with an emphasis on hands-on therapy and functional recovery.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and develop individualized treatment plans to support functional independence and recovery
• Deliver therapeutic interventions for musculoskeletal and orthopedic conditions in an outpatient setting
• Treat post-operative patients using evidence-based rehabilitation techniques
• Perform splint fabrication and modifications based on patient needs
• Provide wound care for post-surgical cases as appropriate
• Educate patients on treatment plans home exercise programs and injury prevention
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with clinical standards
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure coordinated care
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans to achieve optimal outcomes
• Maintain a safe clean and organized clinical environment

Required Qualifications

• Active Occupational Therapist (OT) license
• Experience in outpatient orthopedic or musculoskeletal settings
• Experience with post-operative rehabilitation
• Proficiency in splint fabrication and modification
• Strong clinical reasoning documentation and patient care skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with wound care in post-operative patients
• Certified Hand Therapist (CHT) certification
• Prior travel or contract experience in outpatient settings
