Job Summary
Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) Night Shift (6:00 PM 6:00 AM)
Location: Hettinger ND
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts (6:00 PM 6:00 AM) with occasional extended shifts (up to 8:00 AM)
Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
Position Overview
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join a skilled nursing facility team for night shift coverage. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality compassionate care to residents while working independently during overnight hours.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver comprehensive nursing care to residents during night shifts
- Respond promptly to patient needs and medical emergencies
- Perform accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
- Coordinate effectively with incoming day shift staff for continuity of care
- Ensure adherence to facility policies and patient safety standards
Qualifications
- Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
- Prior experience in long-term care (LTC) or skilled nursing preferred
- Strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills
- Ability to work independently during overnight shifts
Requirements
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- Flexibility to work extended or occasional modified shifts
- Strong communication and documentation skills
