What Youll Do
- Lead the development maintenance and optimization of food and nutraceutical product specifications across raw materials WIP and finished goods.
- Integrate regulatory customer supply chain risk assessment and internal capability inputs to ensure accurate and compliant specifications.
- Establish and manage specification maintenance and distribution programs to ensure stakeholders have access to current documentation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to incorporate learnings from non-conformances testing failures and customer complaints into specifications.
- Support international specifications by integrating global regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement and digital transformation initiatives related to specification management.
What Youll Bring
- Five or more years of quality assurance experience including direct experience developing food specifications.
- Background in food manufacturing or dietary supplement quality assurance with CPG experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety hazards regulatory requirements and quality systems for U.S. and international markets.
- Proven ability to manage programs integrate complex information and influence cross-functional teams.
- Excellent analytical communication and organizational skills with strong attention to detail.
- Bachelors degree in Food Science Microbiology or a related discipline required.
