Job Opportunity: Locum Neurosurgeon in Colorado Springs CO

Join a dynamic healthcare facility in beautiful Colorado Springs known for its picturesque mountains and vibrant community. We are looking for dedicated locum neurosurgeons to provide exceptional care during weekend calls. The facility is a Level 1 trauma center serving over 100000 ER patients annually equipped with modern amenities including 12 operating rooms and a collaborative team of experienced neurosurgeons.

Job Responsibilities:

• Provide neurosurgical care to patients aged 17 and above
• Handle adult and trauma neurosurgery cases including tumor removals intracranial pressure monitoring and trauma repairs
• Perform spinal instrumentation and various advanced surgical procedures
• Manage neurocritical conditions and emergency situations effectively
• Participate in weekend call coverage from Friday (7 AM) to Monday (7 AM)

Qualifications:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery (required)
• Active Colorado medical license (highly preferred)
• Active ACLS (AHA) BLS (AHA) and ATLS certifications (required)
• Fellowship training in Neurosurgery (highly preferred but not required)
• Ability to perform spinal instrumentation (required)
• Clean malpractice history and background check (required)
• COVID vaccination (required)

License and Certification Requirements:

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery
• Active Colorado state license (preferred)
• ACLS BLS and ATLS certifications (current)
