Who We Are Looking ForWe are seeking a highly experienced police professional to join our team as an Emergency Services Ambassador Police based in Tokyo. This role is ideal for a candidate with deep expertise in law enforcement strong leadership experience and a passion for building trusted partnerships between public safety agencies and corporate successful candidate will bring a strong understanding of Japans emergency services frameworks excellent communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with senior stakeholders. A collaborative mindset cultural awareness and commitment to operational excellence are essential for success in this You Will Work OnIn this role you will support the safe and effective integration of emerging transportation technologies by working closely with police services and other public safety entities. Your responsibilities will include both proactive engagement and operational areas of focus include:Delivering training and educational sessions to police services on emerging transportation technologies and their role in emergency situationsBuilding and maintaining strong relationships with public safety officials through ongoing engagement outreach and participation in conferences and presentationsSupporting incident response by providing clear accurate technical guidance to field personnelGathering insights and feedback from stakeholders and producing regular reports assessments and updatesPromoting best practices to enhance safety coordination and operational effectiveness across agenciesContributing to a high-performing team culture focused on excellence discipline and continuous improvementWho You Will Work WithYou will work as part of a team of experienced emergency services professionals collaborating closely with internal stakeholders as well as external partners including police agencies government officials and public safety organizations across role requires regular interaction with cross-functional teams including technical specialists and global counterparts to ensure alignment and effective communication across You Will BringRequired:Minimum of 10 years service within police servicesAt least 5 years in a senior leadership role with experience managing teams and complex operationsStrong understanding of Japans legal frameworks emergency protocols and public safety structuresProven experience in multi-agency collaboration and joint operationsExcellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholdersNative or fluent Japanese language proficiencyPreferred:Degree in a relevant field (e.g. Criminology Public Administration) or equivalent professional experienceExperience working with or supporting emerging technologiesAbility to communicate effectively in English within a global environmentAdditional Information / BenefitsFull-time position based in TokyoApproximately 30% travel requiredOpportunity to work at the intersection of public safety and innovative transportation technologiesCollaborative and mission-driven work environment focused on safety impact and continuous improvement
