Job Summary
The Niles Park District is seeking a passionate and skilled part-time guitar instructor to join our team and inspire the next generation of musicians!
- Plan and deliver engaging guitar lessons for children and teenagers.
- Teach fundamental guitar techniques music theory and basic music notation.
- Monitor and assess students progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Promote a love of music and inspire a lifelong appreciation for the guitar.
Requirements
- Proficiency in playing the guitar.
- Prior teaching experience especially with children and teenagers.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Patience and the ability to motivate and inspire young learners.
- Reliability and strong commitment to the role.
- This is a part-time position 5-15 hours per week after school/evenings.
- $30.00 per hour
