Grain Facility Cleaning & General Labor (1st Shift-Part Time Only)
Location: Toledo OH 43615
Pay: $15/hour
Shift: 1st Shift flex (7:00 AM 3:30 PM)
Part Time: Can be 2 or 3 days per week
Start Date: As early as next week
Job Summary
We are seeking dependable and hardworking individuals to join our team at a grain elevator facility. This role involves cleaning grain bins and performing general housekeeping duties in a physically active industrial environment. This is a great opportunity for motivated individuals looking for steady work and potential growth with an established industry leader.
Key Responsibilities
- Clean grain bins (tasks may range from a few minutes to several hours)
- Sweep and shovel grain and debris
- Perform continuous heavy manual labor throughout the shift
- Lift and carry 5075 lbs repeatedly for extended periods
- Handle frequent repetitive lifting of 50 lbs
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks
Work Environment
- Dusty dirty and industrial setting
- Physically demanding work (standing lifting bending)
- Indoor and outdoor work in all weather conditions
Requirements
- Comfortable working in dusty environments (not suitable for those with Athsma/respiratory conditions or Hayfever/allergies)
- Must Pass Background Check and Drug Screening
- Ability to perform manual labor including lifting sweeping and shoveling
- Reliable with strong attendance
- Motivated hardworking and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PPE & Dress Code
- Provided: Hard hats safety vests safety glasses dust masks
- Required: Steel-toe work boots
