Position Title: RN Med/Surg
Location: Brooklyn NY 11206
Weekly Hours: 3640 hours
Shift: Night Shift 7:30 PM 8:00 AM
Duration: 14 weeks (with high possibility of extension)

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking an experienced and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) Med/Surg to provide high-quality patient care in a fast-paced acute care setting. The RN will deliver direct patient care coordinate with multidisciplinary teams and ensure compliance with clinical standards and protocols.

Responsibilities:

• Assess plan implement and evaluate patient care plans
• Provide bedside care to pre- and post-surgical patients
• Administer and document medications accurately
• Monitor patient vitals and report any adverse reactions
• Perform wound care IV insertion and catheterization
• Operate and monitor specialized medical equipment
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Collaborate with healthcare teams on discharge planning
• Educate patients and families on treatment and recovery
• Ensure adherence to nursing standards and safety protocols

Required Qualifications:

• Active New York State RN License (Primary Source Verified)
• AHA BLS Certification

Education:

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited institution

Experience & Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of Med/Surg experience in acute care or post-acute settings
• Recent experience within the past year required
• Strong clinical skills and patient care expertise
