SUMMARY

The Catering Sanitation Driver Assistant supports sanitation and transportation operations by assisting with the cleaning handling and movement of catering equipment and supplies between the flight kitchen and aircraft. This role ensures all equipment is properly sanitized organized and staged while supporting drivers with safe and efficient loading unloading and transport activities. The position plays a key role in maintaining food safety standards operational readiness and on-time service delivery within Sky Café operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with loading and unloading catering equipment carts and supplies for assigned flights
• Support drivers during transport operations including staging positioning and retrieval of equipment
• Clean sanitize and organize catering equipment carts and utensils in accordance with company and regulatory standards
• Ensure all equipment is properly handled stored and prepared for operational use
• Assist with receiving and returning equipment from aircraft to the flight kitchen
• Maintain proper separation and handling of clean and soiled equipment
• Follow all food safety sanitation and safety procedures at all times
• Use required personal protective equipment (PPE) in accordance with company policies
• Maintain a clean safe and organized work environment
• Communicate effectively with drivers supervisors and team members to support operational efficiency
• Adapt to changing operational needs in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
• Perform any additional duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• 18 years of age or older
• Must be legally authorized to work in the country of employment
• Ability to work in a fast-paced physically demanding environment
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and organization
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Ability to lift push pull and carry 50 pounds regularly
• Ability to stand walk bend and remain active for extended periods (8 hours)
• Ability to work in varying temperatures including hot cold and refrigerated environments
• Ability to obtain and maintain required airport and security clearances (e.g. badging RAIC as applicable)
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen including TSA and Customs requirements
• Ability to work varying schedules including nights weekends and holidays
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
