Job Summary
Under the supervision of the Deputy Chief of Condemnation the Title Examiner Supervisor would supervise and manage the Title Examiner staff while continuing to perform the tasks of a Principal Title Examiner. Said tasks include but are not limited to performing complex title searches review of surveys and Damage and Acquisition maps assisting attorneys in the preparation of motions or other litigation and/or trial preparation in connection with title and real estate matters. The Title Examiner Supervisor will provide direct supervision and management of the title examiner staff including training assigning matters review and consultation with the examiner staff on complex title searches ensuring that the critical role of the Title Bureau is fulfilled. The members of the Title Bureau work on searches for litigation handled by Law but also searches for City Hall as well as mayoral agencies.

Qualifications :
1. Not less than seven years of experience in the work of searching examining reading and closing title to real property either with a title company lawyer governmental agency or conveyancer of which not less than two years must have been in a supervisory position.
