Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Non-CDL Driver to join our West Allis WI team. As a Non-CDL Delivery Driver you will drive a non-CDL straight truck transporting dry loads to customer locations throughout the local branch area. You will also be responsible for material handling duties when not performing driving duties based on a delivery schedule.
Responsibilities
- Drive straight truck and follow all safety procedures per company policy.
- Deliver and unload products to customer locations in a timely manner.
- Keep complete and accurate records and logs of all driving and deliveries.
- Be proficient and perform the proper procedures for performing pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Provide excellent customer service.
- Pull product load and unload trucks when not performing driving duties.
- Back up other delivery routes when needed.
- All other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications
What were looking for
- Experience in delivery driving customer service or another related field.
- Ability to follow direction and safe operating procedures.
- A valid drivers license and good driving record per company policy.
- Federal Medical card preferred but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to provide quality customer service.
- High attention to detail and strong math skills to ensure accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively throughout the shift without assistance (weight varies based on product).
- Ability to be trained to use forklifts and other warehouse equipment and work on his/her feet including walking for extended periods of time.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
